Easter

We had such a nice time on Easter Sunday. We woke up early, got Lilla up, of course she had no desire to see this lovely display...

...as all she can think about in the mornings is a nice warm cup of boob. Yeah, I am still trying to wean the little bugger. She just wants no part of it. However, once that was taken care of, this is what happened next...

...so, nice to know my Mommy/Easter bunny efforts were not in vane.

We went to the SonRise service at church and then headed down to Louisville to visit my hubby's family. Lilla had a blast playing with her cousins...

And looked beautiful, of course, in her Easter dress!

Hope you all had a great day too!

How adorable! I'm glad she enjoyed the fruits of the Easter bunny's labor!

I am so glad you had a wonderful day! We visited my husband's family down in Southern California and had a good time, too!
Lilla does look beautiful in her Easter dress:o)

Oh, I typed up my thinking blogger award entry and just before I posted it, I lost it!! I was so upset... I'll try rewrite it this afternoon.

What a doll! Ignoring her Easter treats reminded me of when we redid our basement into a huge playroom for Christmas last year....and my daughter didn't even notice it and went for a ratty old ball. :-)

How sweet. I remember both of my children's first Easters. IT is such a special time.

Did you do the Easter cookies you wrote about earlier?

I saw the recipe praised as an illustration, but not by anybody who'd actually used it.

Happy Easter! :) Looks like your family had a wonderful day! I love little girls in pretty dresses- your daughter Lilla looks so sweet! Easter is great for that- even the biggest tomboy usually dons a pastel frock on this day :)
Don't worry too much about weaning your daughter- my son didn't want anything of it either, and then it just happened, so smoothly and wonderfully (I wrote a post about it which is located in the Dec. archive of my blog, if you want to read about it and see if there is something that might work for Lilla :) )
